White scaling on one portion of waterline tile

Hello again. Spent quite a bit of time here back when the pool was new about 5-6 years ago, and am needing some assistance again. :) Several years ago we had white scaling begin to appear on the waterline tile just below and around our spa waterfall. We figured it looked like calcium buildup...

Considering a Polaris 280. How does the black in Black Max hold up??

I am just having to replace my 4 year old 280 black max. It did a good job, but just had a wheel snap off (not in a fixable way). The base was faded to a light gray. The wheels were still black, and the rest was faded a bit. The bag had recently been replaced.

Another new build in Prosper, TX (pic update 12/5)

Primarily because I wanted a surface that if I'm bare footed and need/want to be at the equipment pad, I wouldn't have to worry about the rock. We are also putting a storage chest next to the pad for all of the pool toys. I don't want any excuses from the kids as to why they didn't pick up 75...

Another new build in Prosper, TX (pic update 12/5)

I put down a layer of fabric, then fill dirt, then decomposed granite. These pavers are recycled rubber (http://www.envirotile.ca/index.html) that connect to each other via plastic clips to keep movement down to a minimum. They can be cut with a standard utility knife. I initially liked this...

Another new build in Prosper, TX (pic update 12/5)

After a month, the weather and my schedule jived, so we've moved a step closer to being done. Added a ton of decomposed granite. Hopefully get the pavers down in the next week or so.

Sorry I took so long to respond, but yes, we are very pleased with the Tahoe Blue. When you first fill it, it looks very green, but the color changed over the first couple of days.

Another new build in Prosper, TX (pic update 12/5)

After a year since pool completion, I'm finally getting around to finishing off the side yard by the pool equipment. Thus far I've put down fabric to help prevent weeds, raised the overflow drain by about 4 inches, and then unloaded and moved 2 tons of fill dirt. Next step will be to level the...

Can stamped be nonslip and cool on the feet?

I have Kool Deck and we love how much cooler it is than standard concrete. Just yesterday it was 102* and I could stand on it indefinitely without issue, but had to stay well clear of the stone coping. To answer your question, when they first applied our KD, it chipped up in many places, so...

    New IG owner, need help!

Please understand, I agree with the philosophy of this method 100%. It was simply a comment about how many say that we don't try to sell things to people, but then push specific test kits. Obviously, it's left up to each person on what they buy as it's not a requirement in order to post here...

    New IG owner, need help!

I'm certainly not looking to start anything, whatsoever (because I own the kit, etc), but the one thing that gets me is when folks say that we won't try and sell them anything, then say they need to buy something.

First time pool owner looking for advice Allen tx

Depends upon numerous factors. Will you have a spa? How often will you heat it? Will you heat the pool? If so, how often. Variable speed/2 speed pump or not? We got quotes from Riverbend Sandler, Gold Medal, Foley, and Masterpiece. Went with RBS.
