Thanks for that. So, the HTH brand @ Walmart looks to be 15 oz for $15ish...and poolmath says I need ~56 oz. So, that's be 4 of those cannisters or $60. For liquid it says I need 140oz. and a gallon is $25...so I'd have to buy 2 gallons, which would be $50. Am I missing something?

Thank you for the replies. So talking about floating the neutral...this means I don't hook that wire up in the box...got it. But would I think hook it up to the circuits I have going out? Or would it just be an unused wire in the box?

Hey guys, So, I'm in the midst of my pool install. The electrical for the pool consists of a single 3/4 HP 110v pump. There is a shed about 10 feet from the pool. I was thinking I would run a 30a subpanel into the shed, probably using 10 gauge wire in conduit, so I don't have to dig 2 feet...

So I removed the sod a while back, and used it to fill in spots in my yard...all over the yard. That took some time. Then, I made a water-level and realized that, even though the area looked level...it wasn't. It was about 8 inches out across the 26 foot I dug up. And it's shale. Doh! Here...

Hey folks, So i had an old clothes line pole sunk in the ground about 2 feet with concrete. I yanked it out with my truck and used it as a fire pit for about a year. Now, I'm needing to fill it in as I level the ground for the pool. Any thoughts on the best way to fill it in? My cousin...

Well, the battle has begun. Placement has been selected and sod has been removed... Next step...figure out how to level it. I'm thinking I'll build an easy water level...but have also seen the '2x4' method. :)

Quick question...what did you put down on top of the sand before the liner and why? We just purchased a sharkline 24 ft round this week and I'm researching about putting it up myself. Yours turned out great! :)
