Well there must not have been any channels in the sand I opened it and gave it a good stir the sand looks good to me there wasn’t any clumps I just put the sand in before I opened the pool this year so it was brand new. I’m going to try the DE I think the stuff is just so fine the sand filter...

Thanks for the tips, the port is set to filter so I'll get to work on opening up the filter and shifting the material around.

Hi, I'm new to this site and was converting my pool from Baquacil to the chlorine (bleach). but I've run into a problem, for some reason when I try to vacuum the pool all of the Baq goo at the bottom gets sent back into the pool from the filter. I’ll give you all the details I can now to help...
