    Tahoe Blue Pebble

Nice pool Cristie. Jaimslaw - I know when I was researching colors, I heard of some people adding more black to the Tahoe Blue mix so it had a deeper blue color. I probably would have gone that route if given another chance. I personally like the hint of green - seems more natural.

Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble * Updated*

I like it a lot actually. It's gotten darker than those initial photos. Your pool is deeper than mine is, so the color would come out quite nicely IMO. Here is a picture from my phone this morning (the lighting is a little washed out because of the sun.) Underwater shot:

New Pool Build with Grotto/Slide/Waterfall- Temecula, Ca

I just wanted to pop in and say howdy, neighbor! Your pool is looking good!

I'm so happy my build included...

I would have piped for a future water slide. Not a deal breaker, but it would have been nice.

Stonescapes Mini Pebble - Ahhh! What color should we choose?

There's a very noticeable difference between the regular pebble and the mini pebble. We were concerned about our feet too, but the mini pebble is great. We haven't had a single complaint or issue with any of the kids in our neighborhood that come to swim at our pool.

Stonescapes Mini Pebble - Ahhh! What color should we choose?

Choosing our Stonescape color was agonizing! I even picked up a box of samples and put them in a bucket to try and figure it out. Our decision was based on our tanning ledge which is why even though I like the look of dark blue water, I didn't necessarily want to look at a dark blue ledge. We...

    Show off your mosaic!!

I have small turtle mosaics on my bench that we bought from a local pool tile shop. I think they were $40 a pop and pretty easy to install because they're just one piece:

    Concerned about quality of shotcrete

I've been looking through my pool build pictures and I don't have a closeup shot of the shotcrete, but I remember being concerned about its texture after they had sprayed it. This is the best shot I have of some crumbling parts on the bench. The worst part was the stairs for us, but it all came...

Just finishing New Build in Frisco, TX

I just love your design choices. I have to say I'm surprised at how dark the Tropics Blue Stonescapes came out. It was one of our considerations, but we chose Tahoe Blue because I thought it would be darker. I used their website to judge the colors and most of the pictures on their site for...

Two day old coping and it is cracking already

Is there a reason why the control joints are only on the top? My cantilever coping has it going down the edges. My coping was poured almost 2 months ago and I don't see any cracking as of yet. Then again it's hard to tell because ours is also stamped (mistake by the concrete guys :grrrr:) but...

Stonescapes minipebble Tahoe or Tropics blue?

During my process, I've found out that it's a total gamble because it's so hard to tell the outcome based on a tiny sample not to mention the lighting plays a huge role. Here's my Tahoe Blue color. My deck looks white because of the bright light, but it's actually gray concrete. Post...

Gunite Replaster Pebble Tech or Diamond Brite

We just got Stonescapes mini pebble and from my understanding it's essentially the same product as Pebble Tech, but cheaper. Our installation is flawless and we are very happy with the product and highly recommend it.

Sport type Pool or Traditional Deep End?????

Get a deep end!!! Mine only goes to 6 1/2 feet and I REGRET not going deeper all the time. My kids and their friends like to cannon ball and they hit their butts on the bottom all the time. :(

In New England, was set on Liner, but thinking about Gunite?

Re: In New England, was set on Liner, but thinking about Gun Normally I dislike the look of vinyl pools very much, but I do have to say Ksnewman, that's the prettiest vinyl pool I've ever seen.

Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble * Updated*

Thank you. I was literally sick to my stomach over it for the first week, but in the end it worked out - not as dark blue as I wanted, but just the right color to match our look. I talked to my PB yesterday and commented on how worried I was about the color it was for the first week and he...

Need help picking color of pebble finish.

I was contracted for gray plaster, then upgraded to Quartzacapes. Then after going to the showroom and taking samples home, we went with Stonescapes Mini Pebble and I have to say we LOVE it. The look, the feel and everything about it is fantastic. Ours is Tahoe Blue, it's got a bit of aqua in it...

    Replastering

We considered Quartzscapes for the durability factor, but ultimately went one step further and did the Stonescapes Mini Pebble. If that's an option for you price wise, I'd highly recommend it. For us it was a few hundred dollars more than Quartzscapes. You get an even longer life span, and the...

Pool Build (San Diego) - POOL FILLED PICS 8/31

Re: In Progress Pool Build (San Diego) I think 7 would be ok, but if I could do mine again I probably would go 7 1/2. I know there's a slope calculation you can work with to make sure it's ok, but if the slope is bearable I don't think you'll regret that 1/2 foot deeper. What I've learned from...

Pool Build (San Diego) - POOL FILLED PICS 8/31

Re: In Progress Pool Build (San Diego) I just finished my pool and the depth is 3.5 to 6.5 and I regret not going deeper. We don't allow diving either, but some of the kids still hit the bottom when cannon balling or "pencil jumping" as they call it from our spa which is elevated about a foot...

Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble * Updated*

Re: Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble - Hate It * Updated* I thought about it, but in the end I don't think it's his fault. I chose the color based on samples I took home from a showroom without my PB being there, and of course NPT has the disclaimer that colors will vary. The samples are...

Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble * Updated*

Re: Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble - Hate It * Updated* I'd like it to be a bit darker than it is, but overall I'm happy with it. :) It's a good balance of blue water and a sandy looking baja step. If I had to do it again, I would probably look into adding some black to the Tahoe Blue mix...

Re: Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble - Hate It * Updated* ** Updated ** Thank you everyone for responding. When I posted this, the chemicals were balanced and we were brushing the pool 4x a day and running the filter constantly. Even then, the water still would cast a green/tan color. Then...

Stonescapes Tahoe Blue Mini Pebble * Updated*

Picking the finish of the pool was nerve wracking to say the least, and I scoured these forums and the internet for advice on colors, finishes, etc. We were torn between Quartzscapes and Stonescapes and finally went with the mini pebble. First off, we love the texture and the look of it on our...
