Thanks, that’s why I asked here. I was looking for any direct experience. We are doing all of the above while researching. The “more traditional” method as far as I can tell is to demo and replace the pool deck. That’s looking to be cost prohibitive at this point. Thanks for the input.

Well, I managed to fix it. It turns out one the gear pin did not break, it just slid down so one of the cogs would not stay on. I'm back in business. I still feel like I'm on borrowed time and perhaps replacing it is a smart move, but it can now wait until the end of the season.

Thanks James. I've scoured the links for the gear assembly and as it's discontinued it's not available. The link is one of my two local pool retailers and I planned to call them tomorrow anyway. It looks like I'm stuck until I can get it looked at. I'm guessing its a full replacement.

Any updates here? I have the exact same piece of equipment on my pool and the gear assembly has completely failed. I"m thinking I may pull it out and run it without it if I can get it to reseal until I can get a new one.

My pool has had 3 border tiles fall off in the last 24 hours where the spa flows into the pool (which is how it runs normally unless we switch the valves to "Spa" and recirculate that water. I believe it is simply due to age. We have lived here 10-years and the pool has to be at least 20-years...

I vacuumed the pool and took FC up to 22 ppm (CYA 50 ppm) with SWG off. I had to add water to the pool again to keep skimmers high enough so I rechecked it and had to bump it back up this morning. The pool is in Service Mode and filtering. I plan to change the filters tomorrow and call it good...

I do understand now. I was also not sure what I was solving for originally. SWG%, Pump Hours or FC. That makes complete sense when solving for FC added per day. Thank you.

I just played with the SWG settings again and found that combo. It did't seem like other settings would generate the settings. I just dropped it to 10-hours and 60%. I'm going to check FC tonight to see where it's at then go from there tomorrow. Thank you.

I am having a hard time reading the pH scale. It seems like the color is never quite right. I am assuming in this case I am either off-scale or overthinking the color match. What's this look like?
