    I actually asked that question and pool chems are stored in a separate room. I don't know how the ventilation system works so I can't say for sure there are no fumes in the pump room.

    Well they came out to open up the pool for the season and informed us that both pumps were dead and that this can happen with pumps that only run part of the year? Then they replaced one pump so far (runs the pool) and are waiting for the second replacement (which runs the spill over).
