I thought of that. I acid washed the pool but the discoloration came back.

I have a customer who had his pool re plastered with Diamond Brite. About a year later, he started seeing light cream colored paint in the bottom of the pool. It's not in the spa, only in the bottom of the pool. Has anyone heard of high pH 8.0 or so or high alkalinity causing this?
