Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

Hayward tech came by and added a new one probe further up. They left the old probe but disconnected it from the panel. I haven't had this issue since. Thanks everyone for the help.

Brown stain between stair line tiles

The plaster warranty came through and they removed all the brown grout by using using a small handheld circular saw. They then added the pebblefina on top. I think they did a good job and the tile areas look much better.

Brown stain between stair line tiles

(mod merged from another thread) I have a 3 month old pool that will have some warranty work done on the tilework. They will drain the pool to do this so I wanted to take this time to make sure I can remove the white deposits that have accumulated around the edges of stairs and corners. See...

Brown stain between stair line tiles

Thank you for response. I will be on site when the repair is done so I will ask all of this before they start. The plaster company will performing the repair but the PB will not be there. Is the white stuff calcium deposit (caked on plaster dust)? I am going to be adding Orenda SC-1000...

Brown stain between stair line tiles

Update: The plaster warranty folks will drain the pool and fix the issue. They'll be done by the end of the week so I'll post updates of the finished work. Also, since they will be draining the pool, what would be the best way to clean this white buildup. its primarily around the edges of...

How can I automate my bubblers?

Thanks! That's good to know. I'll look into getting the Hayward stuff since that's what was installed already.

How can I automate my bubblers?

Thank you for the detailed responses! The reason why it would be easier to automate the valves is because my pool equipment is on a hill and it's a pain in the butt to go there and come back up. You can trip very easily so I'm trying to avoid a potential disaster. Are you also suggesting I...

How can I automate my bubblers?

Thanks I read through your solution yesterday. Great job on the setup. I think I need to do exactly what you did. I don't have any experience working with relays but I'm down to try. Few initial questions: 1. How hard is it to replace the ball valves with two way jandy valves? I assume I...

How can I automate my bubblers?

Hey all I want to automate my bubblers and future water slide return. Initially I had just assumed it would be automatically controlled through the Omnilogic app but I was mistaken. Apparently my hub doesn't support any more automated valves and my cheapest option is to add another Omnihub so...

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

Thanks that is good to know. Who knows how long until the hayward tech comes but so far the temps have been reading okay again.

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

That makes sense that the water would heat up but I would hope that the pump is smart enough to shut itself off in that case. And yes, the first thing I did was check the swg for no flow errors but there weren't any. The returns also were pushing out water throughout the pool. I also...

Thank you I'll bring this point up with the PB and Hayward tech.

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

Today the temp seems to be fine and showing 64 degrees. I didn't touch anything nor did the warranty folks come out. I wonder if its a short when it rains. I might try putting some water on there tomorrow to see if it starts showing inaccurate temps.

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

not surprised to hear that honestly. Thanks I will bring that up with the Hayward tech who will be coming out to look at the sensors. I doubt he will move it but it can't hurt to ask. I would do it myself but then they might complain about warranty coverage, etc. I'll update the thread when...

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

Hope so and thanks. It's only been about 2 months since the equipment was installed. Do these sensors tend to go bad so quickly?

And I can confirm the returns have water coming out and the spa is slightly spilling over.

Omnilogic showing really high pool temperature!

It hasn't changed the temp. it fluctuates around 129-130. This is my current schedule. I used an online calculator to make sure i have at least 3 turnovers. The RPMs coincide with cheaper electricity rates. If its wrong, I'm willing to rework it for a better schedule.
