Set to off

Someone had posted the instructions here but I no longer see them.

Water temp reads 80. spa will go right to 95 if pool temp is set to 95 on the H P but if I set it to off per instructions theheat never turns on.

Was referring to Hayward as they. I am the owner of the pool.

When setting the H P for remote operation the last step says to press either up or down button till "E" appears. This will not work when pool is set to off.works if a temperature is set but spa will not go above set temp.

If I understand correctly they want the pool turned to off but when that is done theheat never turns on.

How It heats the spa up to the temp that the pool is set to and maintAINS IT there. It is getting the signalthat the spa is on,just will not go above the pool setting.

Have tried setting the pool to OFF on the heat pump but compressor would not kick in at all.

On the heat pump the temp on the spa is set to 104 and pool is set to 95 (defaults).

Pool is set to 95 and spa is set to 103.
