    Patio Installation

This is my stoop which shows a lot of the grout haze. It also shows a re-sandblasted test sample and how much darker it got. The stoop stones are good example of the original look

    Patio Installation

This picture has a little bit of everything in it. 1) upper right you can see some stones that are closer to original 2) on many stones we have this browning effect - not sure what this is but hasn’t come up since being professional cleaned. 3) in the middle you can see some power washing...

    Patio Installation

Hey guys, It’s been a while but I’m still trying to resolve my messed up patio. Upon cleaning up the Mason damaged the sandblasted marble stone by power washing it with pressure nozzles. It stripped the finish and left swirls on many stones. I’ve attempted to try multiple different...

    Talk to a Lawyer?

The manufacturer said cannot use anything acidic which looks like these products are not that. I had someone come by and try sandblasting a test area and the stone would not come back to its lighter sandblasted finish when first installed. Maybe this sandblaster does not know all the tricks...

    Talk to a Lawyer?

Looking at my cameras I watched more thoroughly how they attempted to clean this patio. They simply wet the stone and then directly pour both of these cleaners onto the surface in highly concentrated spots. Let it sit and brushed it around a little bit. They then rinsed it very very very...

    Talk to a Lawyer?

Would really hope so. Issue is the original installer is the same guy whose workers ruined them. His solution is to replace them. I found a company that refinishes / re sandblasts. If you are right, this could be a decent option and make him pay the bill. Will be reaching out in the morning.

    Talk to a Lawyer?

Hi Guys, Need some advice. I really ran into a problem with my patio installer. His man went to pressure wash and used a strong nozzle too close to my patio and caused damaged and streaking. They then tried to apply a new cleaner today and left a ton of discoloration. I think he will do...

    Marble dust ruined?

Hey guys, Marble dust was done yesterday. They finished around 1pm and started filling. ~415 very very light rain for ~ 5 mins. ~730 torrential downpour for 25 mins followed by light rain for next 2 hours. Today pool is still filling and my sunshelf looks like attached. PB said it’s calcium...

@Newdude - you think it would be unadvised to just run a hill down the 3ft over 15ft and have a pathway doing the same?

Haha thanks! I might just have to raise the yard up. That’s the look we wanted. This pool should have been put another ft lower.

That shipped has sailed. Fence going across the yard after the pool is the way it needs to be. If we split out patio by cutting the fence into the house - it really hinders the patio usage and the fence has to but up right against the double slide you can see. But yes for the time being...

Nice screenshot worked! I think I’m closer to 2.5 on the left side and 3ft on the right side - directions based on if I’m in the backyard looking at my house. The pool is essentially 4-6 inches above the height of the patio table in the yard.
