Thanks :-) Well, looks like it will only ship 2 days if in stock, otherwise 4-6 weeks booo :-( soooo looking at 2100 gph so is cavitation when it runs dry? I read so many times that it is air ... and there's no reason I would know any better ... but think I'm fixin' to get some (more) pump...

Hey y'all .... Had a good last year with new filter and doing okay til today ..motor died, :-( the hub and son are off to camp this week ... so, as freaked out as I was to do it, I tore it down and long story short, the shaft won't spin. So called intex, a replacement motor (part is 11322EG)...

Got the pool and swg figured out, now for the pump/filter I am looking at buying one of the two for an 18' x 52" easy set (ring)pool... thoughts?? for the size difference, do you think there will be much difference in overall results...

Hey y'all, I have this pool, http://www.walmart.com/ip/Intex-18-x-48-Easy-Set-Swimming-Pool/22061255 but after 5 years it is showing wear and tear. I want to replace it with another one just like it....I'm not digging the ultra frames... too much rain and sandy soil...worried about legs...

I did pull some pool water aside for a test run of the chitosan clarifier last year, and the samples looked reasonable, so I tried a little because of all the micro-junk that came in with all the rain we got, fwiw, didn't like it large scale and won't use it again. Happy this year, so far with...

Don't get discouraged, the fastest way to get the results you want will be to get a handle on what is happening and why, once you do, it will be easier, actually intuitive... I can relate to the small children issue, even tho mine is older... It wasn't that long ago... :wink: I know you are...
