No we do not use a cover pump.

Any ideas as to why this happened?? Trying to figure out why even if it’s a loss. Could the cover be too big and allowed too much water to collect? We are at a loss as to where the water went when it was fine all summer.

Just wanted to say how thankful I am for this site. Finally passed all 3 SLAMMING criteria and have a beautiful pool. Now just have to let the FC get down so I can test my PH.

We are very antsy now that the pool is finally clear (it's been over a month) and kids want to swim; FC is at 24 for SLAMMING and my OCLT is still over 1 with CC at 1 as well. With this high of FC level is it safe to swim?

Thank you for letting me know that as I thought when I logged my additions it logged results too. I will start logging them; we have to keep our FC at 24 with our high CYA so haven’t been able to accurately test PH while SLAMMING.

Update…finally able to see the bottom of our pool after several weeks of SLAMMING. Thank you so much. Hoping another week and we will pass all 3 tests. It’s still cloudy and losing chlorine overnight more than 1ppm but there’s progress

Thank you. Yes we pulled them out last night so here's hoping it works. Lost 4PPM of chlorine last night after not really losing any all day yesterday

FC is at 15 this morning. PH is 8.1 though I know it’s not that accurate with the FC being over 10. Pool is very green. How important is it to get the PH to the 7.2 mark? May take awhile to get our FC down as it only lost 3PPM overnight and I don’t want the water to keep getting worse by not...
