15x30 above ground. The 4 fc was from 7am-3:30 pm so it seems my cya might be low but again I am horrible with that( even had the standard solution and couldn’t get it right) I am really thinking my cya is low with sunlight taking it so low during the day

During the earlier parts of the slam you want to test as often as possible and keep it at slam level each time. First 2 days of my slam earlier this summer I checked every 1.5-2 hr and added back. Later I would check it every few hrs on break from work.

I can say as a person who recently found the site and helped me go from green to clear. The testing is really only fc/ph each day. It takes about 5 minutes then another few minutes to add chemicals. I had the same issue during my slam. Wasn’t able to figure it out. But since slam checking only 1 time a day no problems. I’m guessing as I was checking so often maybe it hadn’t all got mix through.

You can just use pool math app. Enter your current (0) until your test kit comes and set the desired to the ppm

I probably could have been done bout 5 days but kept at slam levels until the pool was crystal clear. Last 2-3 days were a lot of just dead algae getting cleaned up
