The first pic they added when they opened my pool. Had a lot of dirt and debris in it. Filter helped can see the bottom now just cloudy! Three days after opening I got water tested and added the three products you see in the last two pics.

Thank you so much for that detailed info. I do have a hill so siphon vacc could be an option. I have two cartridges.... So you think I should just stick with one cartridge and clean it a bunch of times while vacuuming? Then at least I have the other one to use in the meantime and replace the one...

Hello! Thanks for your insight. The filter has been off so that is good. It's not a sand filter though, cartridge. So same thing... Vaccuum to cartridge then replace? I will look into the trash pump thing too. Never heard of that but that's been the theme of the past two months... Learning!
