Hayward Phoenix 4W Chews Up Tires

Sorry 'bout late posting but still current today 2/27/22...Joe Nov. 2020 was this cleaner purchase and, eight months later, I had to replace its four tires as it could no longer clear the raised drain cover. The way the tire wear marks are wearing, maybe replacement tires will happen next...

Hayward Phoenix 4W Chews Up Tires

Nov. 2020 was the purchase and, eight months later, I had to replace its four tires as it could no longer bypass the raised drain cover. The way the tire wear marks are wearing, looks like next month will be its next set of rubber (8-mos). Mine's a plaster pool, kidney shaped with the sloping...

    Aeration

    Treat Now or Winterize

While waiting for TA, pH, and chlorine levels to drop to treatable levels for phosphates and rust stains, our desert weather changed, dropping water temps to below 65ºƒ, probably 'til Spring 2021 or so. Winterizing a pool here means keeping the pump running during the occasional freeze...

    Tenacious Yellow Everywhere

After replastering pool seven years ago in this southwestern desert town, noticed an insidious, yellowing "bleed-through" this past year which is totally erasing all my bright white, relatively new marbleite. Something is taking over the entire smooth surface with no change in texture, like...
