Some cyanuric acid (stabalizer) should do the trick. Check out the pool calculator to sed how much you need. Also, post your test results.

The strapless leg does scare me however there isnt any stress on it surprisingly. I weigh 180lbs and to test this setup i cannonballed into it from about 6 feet high. Im worried about the swaying.posts. If it comes down to it, ill have to drain. Just want any and all ideas.

That would definitely be the way to go, but I need to find a way to fix this without draining.. It took FOREVER for the pool to heat up plus all the chemicals I've placed in it.. it'd be a huge loss.

Yeah, I would go with the 2650 but I plan on purchasing a much bigger AGP next year. I just didn't want to try and sell the 2650 next year and purchase another pump/filter again. Thanks for everyone's input!

Why is that? The Pentair is is quite a bit cheaper.. however Hayward seems to be a better name with a "more powerful" pump so they say. Any other pros and cons?

Thank you for the quick reply and great forum! I'd love a 2 speed pump, however I've found that these are quite a bit more expensive so I may not go that route quite yet. Is a 1 1/2 HP pump dangerous for this size of pool?
