    Auto Cover Install Problem

Yours is how I expected the install to look. The model is Coverstar Eclipse, the well is 17" deep (after they had to jackhammer down 4 inches) 14" wide and 18' 10" long. My pool is supposed to be 16' wide but I just measured and it is really only 15' 9" but the cover is 16' 3" wide. There is...

    Auto Cover Install Problem

My auto cover was just installed and something is not right. From the pictures you can see to cover doesn't retract enough. We have lost nearly 5 inches of pool/sunshelf space with the cover. The installer said it was installed correctly and cannot retract any more and blamed it on the PB saying...

    New plaster, low pH

18,000 gallon pool with plaster that is now about 7 days old. Taylor test kit TA 50 and pH 6.8 (we added a bit too much Muriatic acid last night.) I am confused if I should use baking soda, washing soda or borax or let nature of curing plaster take its course.

    Pentair pump tripping breaker

Thank you for your reply. We will do the troubleshooting you mentioned. We have a GE 20 amp breaker. I was reading about others having problems with GE breakers and Pentair pumps. We are using the National Plaster Council start-up, very detailed.

    Pentair pump tripping breaker

Our concrete pool was just plastered on the 30th and filled on the 31st. Our Pentair Superflo VST variable speed pump only runs for a few minutes then trips the breaker. Should we just assume faulty breaker? We have now been with out a pump for a couple of days, what are the ramifications for...

newly poured coping done incorrectly, coating solutions?

Yes, contract said pavers at $32.50 LF. He poured conctete ($11.26 SF) without telling us or ammending the contract. I would ask for a re-do but we are already 300+ days into this build and I really would just like it done.

newly poured coping done incorrectly, coating solutions?

My PB poured concrete coping (it was supposed to be pavers.) It looks awful. There is aggregate showing on the edeges that is crumbling, the "bullnose" is rough with form imprints and the joints were cut instead of trowled and are razor sharp, uneven and already chipping. His solution is some...
