    Buy a timer 115/230v. depending on existing wiring layout. Now, you can set (any hour or time) 1 or 8 hours if you like. Lowe's can outfit with this timer.

    One skimmer would be just fine just by looking at your landscape. Are going to buiild a landscape around you pool deck? If so, I would ask for another skimmer. If not, ask the builder to install one wide-mouth skimmer.

    Did the stone mason cut a drip edge under the spill edge stone? It helps with capillary action when water rolls under the stone. Ask the stone mason if the spillover stone can be removed and have a 1/8" slot cut into the stone.

    Just wondering if your pool has any inlet jets. I use 1/2" inlets on my pools, it bring the psi up a bump but won't hurt them. The reason using a smaller jet, it helps pull water current across the pool a little better, add some resistance to the pump.
