When you look at the motor assembly, look at the sensor and see if it's a gray sensor or a black sensor. The gray sensor looks through the holes in the metal plate and the black one has the metal plate slide through it. The black sensors metal plate won't have square holes in it. If the...

    Ultraflex 2/ Caretaker 99

I live in Vegas and warming the water isn't an issue in the summer. I remember the salesman telling us that too. I think it's a great thing to have in the desert because of all the dust in the air and in the pool. It definitely helps to automate the cleaning and I would do it again if I lived...

Ultra flex 2 fails to rotate between stations

Re: Ultraflex 2/ Caretaker 99 I emailed them over to you. When you replaced the motor did you replace the complete motor assembly with the sensor and PCB? The gray "Look Down" sensor was only used for a short time and they now use the black "pass through" sensor.

Ultra flex 2 fails to rotate between stations

I just emailed you the troubleshooting guide. Did you replace the PCB at the box as well as the PCB inside where the sensor goes?

Landscape lighting should not be working with the GFCI tripped. Get an electrician out there.

Jandy colors pool light not working and iAqualink vs Autelis

I just had an issue with my relay being bad even though you can hear it click. Swapped the lights to a different relay and all is well. I used a voltage meter to test the relay.

Lights in Pool/ Jandy Aqualink RS

Pool Clown guess what?? You are a savior my friend. Today I learned to use a voltage meter and I now know what a relay switch is and what it does. It was the relay and I had 2 spares on the board that were not in use. I copied the wiring and then swapped the switch and I now have working...

Yes the remote says the lights are on and I can hear the relay click when it's in aux mode.

Lights in Pool/ Jandy Aqualink RS

Yes both lights in the pool don't work and when the system works both lights in the pool work fine. Who repairs lights in the pool? Do I call Jandy or an electrician?

Lights in Pool/ Jandy Aqualink RS

Yes they work perfect when they do work. 1 night every 3 weeks. The pool has 2 lights in it and the spa has 1. Pool and spa are on separate switches.

Lights in Pool/ Jandy Aqualink RS

I have not contacted them. I would like to problem solve this on my own if possible.

Lights in Pool/ Jandy Aqualink RS

A couple months back the 2 lights (120 volt) stopped working and I figured the bulbs simply died. That is not the case because both come on about once every 2 or 3 weeks. Very strange but at least I know it's not the GFI or the light bulbs. Since the work intermittently, and I mean very...

    Ultraflex 2/ Caretaker 99

I asked this same question and was told by a Zodiac service tech that we replace the gray part# with the same gray part. That's what I did a couple weeks back and all is well. I was told that we are stuck with gray until we end up purchasing the complete motor unit at $300 from Zodiac. I had...

Yep - order the sensor and it should come with the metal plate. The motor rotates when the board tells it to and the sensor you have stops when it gets to an opening in the plate (Hence the name Look Down Sensor). Amazon search for Zodiac 2-7-306 led me here -...

    Ultraflex 2/ Caretaker 99

You have the old style sensor that is gray (part# 2-7-306) and you can order that direct from Zodiac for $30.00. You have the new PCB because it's orange, the old ones were black. Open the box and make sure the PCB in the box also has the orange ends. The sensor you have was only made for...

    Ultraflex 2/ Caretaker 99

If you lift the motor assembly you can simply pull it out and see the 20 or so screws holding the plate down. You will see water coming up through the center seal that may be worn. It bubbles slowly when you turn off the pump and you will notice it after the pump has been running during the...

Simply lift off the cover where the motor is and take a pic. Also look to see if there is any water in the bottom between the round plate (with all the screws) and the motor.

What color is your sensor? Is it Black or Grey? Is water coming back through the system where the motor is? Usually it will come back up through the center seal if it does and some water will get into the area where the motor is.

Funny how this topic just came up again and I started having the same issue when I originally posted in here. Every so often the system will completely stop rotating between stations and I have to shut it down for an hour or so and when I start it back up it rotates just fine. I am going to...

I just sent you the guides. Make sure you read through both of them. Your problem definitely sounds like the Controller PCB.

Oh yes and FYI, I finally received my 2 sensor and got it working correctly. I now have a working in floor cleaner. Don't give up because once it is working it really works well.

I am clueless but since nobody else is chiming in I'm doing my best. Remember, I don't have a working unit as of yet either. Run a jumper wire for the pressure gauge and also verify that both of the new boards are in fact UF1 boards. I can see the new board is UF1 but that is the one that is...

The lid is not broken and you are putting it back on when testing it correct? The troubleshooting guide says it could be the burial cable. I am not sure how to check the integrity of that cable but my guide has a photo of the person taking the motor over to the main board and plugging it in...

Well the good news is that your not going at it alone. I am right there with you. Bad news is that neither one of us has a working system at the moment. Haha. Did they send you both the controller board and the PCB?

When I called tech support regarding my UF2 equipment it appears that they are even confused as to what equipment to send out us pool owners. They sent me new boards and a new sensor by mistake thinking it was under warranty and when I explained that they sent me the wrong sensor they said "oh...

No the light simply goes solid for about 12-15 seconds when turned on then blinks. When the system is off the light goes off. I have good voltage readings at both boards and then at the motor I have good voltage every 15 seconds as it is suppose to.
