There’s white precipitate on the pool bottom

The TA this morning is 120. The ph is 7.4. The pool is still cloudy but much less so than it was. I’m going to drop the pool to 7.2 and continue aerating. Does that sound right?

I haven’t texted the TA after yet. It was 90 before. After adding 1 gallon the PH was 7.6 this morning and a little more clear. I’ll test TA this morning and adjust to 7.2 in the process.

I have boric acid arriving in the morning that I may try to use since I need boron anyways.

Much appreciated on the fast help. The boron level wasn’t coming up so he kept adding. Lol. He called me frantic when the pool went opaque. We will survive.

So I asked a young man to help me out with my pool and he put 3 boxes of washing soda in instead of 3 boxes of borax. I try to keep the boron ppm at around 30-40 and he was trying to help. Pool is completely cloudy and the ph is through he roof. Help.

I don't think i need to run it faster after reading a lot of the documentation here about chlorination and bleach vs tabs. The only real reason to run it faster is that the spa fills off the pool circuit and spills over the tiered spillway. If i don't run it at least about 1600 it won't even...
