Why does it need to cycle each color to get to the one you want.

My spa fountain and pool alternate with the spa jets. If your jets aren't on when the pool is then you should be able to fix the freeze settings easily.

Nice. I just realized that when the issue happened the heater didn't say remote tstat enabled. I don't know why. How could that happen. If accurate I think the heater turned itself on.

Its happening on tapatalk on android too. Other forums are OK.

Jandy said no. They said if the PDA has it set to enabled instead of off it would do that. It wasn't. It seems the easy touch has options but I don't have that system. Isn't this fun. I found another thread about this but they never responded all year with what happened.

I did more research than PB did. When pool was out of freeze protect this is what the heater said. I turned on spa from PDA and the darn heater came on. The PDA said heater off. So when spa came on in freeze protect I assume heater came on. But why!! They are coming back out in a few days...

It didn't drop below 36 last night so I couldn't reproduce the issue. Pb coming tomorrow and I'm going to watch them every minute. Last year they blamed another person on same PDA freq. Obviously that's wrong.

Generally you don't. It was below 32 for 36 straight hours this week...but still it's questionable if needed I agree. A few years ago (didn't have a pool then), it was in the 20's for a few days... It only happens once or twice a year for about a day or two.

The cycling is determined by freeze protect settings. My heater does not come on automatically so I'm not sure about your question.

Can you get custom spa covers. Not round or square. Had larger gas meter installed yesterday so I will fire it up for the second time later this week and compare. How much does it cost to heat it? I forgot to take gas electric readings prior.

I heated mine from 60 to 102 in 30 minutes. 400k heater. Maybe you need bigger meter?

Rain slowed things down but finally plaster and water.
