Looking for ideas existing pool (slide, jumping rock)

I'm looking for ideas or people who have added slides, waterfalls, jumping rocks to existing pools. I'm trying to avoid cutting into the existing pool, so would like a slide/rock etc that can hang over the edge. I have an idea to build a wooden platform similar to disney's for wilderness water...

    Light spots pebble tec

That may be the answer. How do you typically add acid? I was shown to walk it along edge and in front of returns... No real solution if that's the problem except acid wash then?? Its just cosmetic if that is the issue correct?

    Light spots pebble tec

I did not notice the discoloration until 2 weeks ago. That is why I was totally lost. I am hoping to get in the water in the next week or two and check it out up close. It's just too darn cold....You think the Ph would cause it....my Ph is normally 7.8 or so, but I added muriatic to get it down...

    Light spots pebble tec

Plaster was done Dec 2011, it is pebble, that was my original thought, that it could be salt or something, but it is in areas that I never would have poured. No powdered chemicals added, only salt. Since I have noticed the spots and my CH was low I have added to raise CH, but other than that...

    Light spots pebble tec

They are not small spots... They are large 4-5 foot areas that just look cleaner/lighter than the rest of the pool. But I scrub around them and nothing changes. I'm hoping the water warms up soon so I can jump in with a mask I and get a closer look. It makes no sense. There are 2-3 sections that...

    Light spots pebble tec

I have noticed large sections of light spots on my pool. I will try to get pictures up, but it's tough to see depending on clouds/shadows. What could be causing the spots? Ph and chlorine are in line, calcium hardness is 150, any advice would be appreciated. When I scrub them nothing happens.

Last night FC 4.5 this morning it is at 3.5-4 it was almost clear at 3.5 completely clear at 4. If it is not some type of algae, where would metal in the pool come from I haven't filled it or added water lately.

TF100 first test, clear/green tint water

The pool is only about a year old, have not had any problems with metal. The chlorine got very low, down to almost nothing about a month ago, after being neglected throughout December. I had made the mistake of thinking it was too cold to worry about.

    SWG Winter and Cold Water

The lower salt is most likely due to the rain we have had. The unit is only a year old. The water/temp is too low to generate salt, that was the reason I was asking if I should bother adding the salt now or wait a month or two for the water to warm up. My pool is hanging right around 42-45 degrees.

    SWG Winter and Cold Water

It is a Hayward Turbocell T9. I believe it was reading 2200ppm, I know it's too cold to generate chlorine, but wasnt sure if I needed to add salt now or wait until it warms up.

    SWG Winter and Cold Water

I am getting a low salt message on my pool. During the winter I just use a floater/pucks for chlorine, is there any reason I should add salt now? Or is it okay until I wait for it to warm up.
