    Pump not priming

Thanks for the tip, I will try that if it happens again! Just to confirm, you mean the o-ring on the pump lid correct?

    Pump not priming

Wanted to give an update...I kept the pump running again throughout the night and woke up this morning to the pump running fully primed with no air bubbles coming out of the return jets. I'm not sure if it was just the warming temperatures or what, but everything seems to running as normal again!

    Pump not priming

Water is flowing, there is just some air in the system. I believe it is something with the pump. When I shut it down and restart it water flows into the pump basket just fine but it never fully primes. I can see a tiny amount of water leaking from that seal point between the motor and the pump...

    Pump not priming

The deep freeze might have got us...my pump does not seem to be priming and I think I can see where a small amount of water is leaking. I have tightened the bolts that attach the motor to the basket housing but there is still a small amount of water leaking. Could this be a bad o-ring and is...

    Robot Max FC Level

I have a Dolphin robot cleaner and have used it while my pool was superchlorinated, probably around 15-20 ppm. Machine still works fine, but I would try to avoid doing what I did ha! I would think having 5-7ppm chlorine would not ruin the machine.

What would you do? Hardwood vs Composite

I know there's some Azek hate going on here, but I built our pool deck using Azek deck boards and I absolutely love the stuff! It's literally zero maintenance...if it gets dirty a rag and warm water will clean it and it looks brand new again. You don't want to leave spills on it or it will...

Thanks! We thought about getting a solo stove because we wanted real fire, but with the deck boards being PVC we weren't sure how well that would go so went with the propane and have really enjoyed it! Easy operation and no clean up/maintenance (what my dreams are made of haha)

No, I actually have it mounted via an RV TV mount so I literally just unplug it and take it down and inside whenever we're not using it. Outdoors speakers are all bluetooth so I only have one thing to plug in to have a whole outdoor entertainment setup. Seems to be working great so far!

Thanks! It was a last minute decision for us. From what I understand the maintenance is pretty straight forward. Whenever it gets dirty I just wash it off with a water hose and it looks great. You can seal it, but you don’t have to from what I’ve read.

    Ground Water Level

It’s early spring and we just got a good bit of rain so I went out and checked the ground water level by looking down my well point and noticed it was pretty high, probably about 3/4 of the way up before the water level of my pool. Should I be pumping ground water out or is it okay to let it...

Thank you! We are really happy with the size, especially with our yard dimensions. Obviously, the bigger the better, but 14x30 has been plenty big for us!

New Latham fiberglass off 2 inches

I had a similar issue with my Latham install. The installer fixed it, or at least improved it to our satisfaction, by removing gravel and using a floor jack to lift up the lowest corner, added some more support. Here’s my Thread to show you what I was dealing with. Bottom line, they should fix...

Welp my fiberglass pool popped out... sigh (story/advice)

As a new fiberglass pool owner this is one of my biggest fears! I'm interested to see pictures of this and learn more about how exactly this happened. With the hurricane rolling through we got HEAVY rains over the past 2 days. I had to lower the pool water level multiple times and kept an eye...
