    When to run pool filter/pump (best times)

    The pump is a Hayward Powermatrix, Model # SP1593FP. I just looked it up and there is a chart here http://www.hayward-pool.com/prd/Above-Ground-Pool-Pumps-PowerFlo-Matrix-_10201_10551_15008_-1_14017__A.htm I think its telling me that its putting out 86 gpm!

    Thanks ToyGuy. Yeah, I've heard that too but I've read here that its the chlorine level that takes care of algae, not necessarily the filter. I too run it for 10 hours during high sun hours but I'd like to save some money on my electric bill if possible.
