It's raining so much here that my pool water is already above my skimmer. Do I drain some water off or wait til it's all over. It's supposed to rain here all day like crazy. Will it hurt my pool if I let the water overflow over the top? HELP!!!

I really don't mean to hijack this thread but I have to ask about this. I have seen several threads now that suggest restricting the flow from the skimmer in order to improve the flow through the liquidator. IMHO I think this is a bad idea. People go to a lot of trouble to make their pipes...

If I had had my druthers I would have a round, but I couldn't fit one of any decent size in my yard. I think rounds would be better just because it is stronger being a perfect circle. The sides of an oval have to be reinforced (buttressed) because they are always trying to push themselves out...

They should pretty much straighten themselves out when you fill it up if they are not too bad. It won't weaken the wall in any way that matters. Don't feel bad. I creased mine putting my daughter over the wall goofing around. It pretty much disappeared with the water in it.
