Yes, that’s the one. I do the 25ml sample, and it takes 9 drops to turn clear. I fully expected that result since I had full blooming algae when I opened.

This is with 4 drops instead of 5. Pump has been running since yesterday morning when I opened. FC will only hold at 5 for a a couple hours so I know I need to SLAM but thought I needed ph at 7.2 before doing that. Also I see I forgot to post CYA which is 0.

I had liquid, the warning in the bottle scared me off. It said not to combine with chlorine so I thought I may have purchased the wrong thing

So I purchased Muriatic Acid 31.45% and ph down to lower my ph to 7.2. When I went to the app to see which one would be better it doesn’t give me an option for the liquid at this strength only something called braum? Not sure how much to add or which would would be better, liquid or the powder?

This is the first year I am opening my above ground SWG 9x18 Intex with water left from last year. We drained halfway when we closed and had water delivered yesterday to fill. The water was green upon opening from the winter and just added fresh to it. Now I have 0 FC and not registering CYA...

So this afternoon the green is almost cleared up, thank goodness! Unfortunately the CYA is still high (100) but my FC is 7.5 so I figure for now I am okay. It is supposed to rain the next 4 days so hopefully it may come down some. I will retest then and may be back for more guidance :)

I may try that, my sand pump seems to be helping, when I backwash it is a yucky brown ( technical term)
