Aqualink RS Power Center line in melting at lug.

Cleaned the contacts real good and reconnected everything back up and running. I am checking daily to see if there is any overheating. So far so good.

Aqualink RS Power Center line in melting at lug.

Only once, I cut out a section to clean copper and used the same lug. I didn't clean those connections at the lug so there could have been built up corrosion adding resistance. I'll pull the lug screw and give everything a good cleaning. The wire doesn't have markings. Looks like it's big...

Aqualink RS Power Center line in melting at lug.

The line in to my power center keeps melting. The only thing that changes is a VSP pump and a voltage surge protector all on the same side. Any one have ideas on what is going on? I'm trying to get an electrician to look at it too, but I am an EE and don't mind a DIY if it seems reasonable...

Next Steps... for Spa Light Niche Leak

I dug out the old stuff and water was starting to drip out which made me think this was definitely the leaking spot. Putty should be here Friday. Gonna watch some YouTube videos to make sure I apply it right.

Next Steps... for Spa Light Niche Leak

I've been hunting down this leak for awhile. I thought it was in the pool, but I finally took time to isolate the spa (spillover was in a always on configuration on a JVA). I believe i've found the culprit. I left the filter off and level of the spa drained to this level. Right to where the spa...

    water guru

I've had the guru for almost a year now. It works really well. I trust it so much I only test by hand on the weekends now. The free water testing through the mail isn't bad either, but i've found those numbers don't seem to work out. I think sending them in the mail might affect the results, or...

    Evaporation in cold or leak

Just to add a data point for you peace of mind. I ran my waterfall and spillover the whole time. I was losing 1" every 12 hours. It was insane. My spigot froze eventually and I ran a hose from my washer machine water line out the window into the pool. Fun times.

How are my fellow Texans doing this morning lol

I'm starting to lose the fight. Well plumbing froze so I can't keep the pool filled. I can switch to spa mode to buy a little more time before i'm going to have to drain everything and hope for the best.

    Texans

HEB didn't have milk or eggs for pickup yesterday. I was able to find milk at a Dollar General down the road. We stocked up on several gallons of water in case the power goes out. We are on well water and there is a pressurization pump that runs off the grid :/

How are my fellow Texans doing this morning lol

@Jane S I replaced the shaft seal on my main filter pump last night because it ran dry before all this started. I heated up a kettle of water opened the filter pump lid and melted the ice that had formed. It wasn't too much at that point. I had removed the drain plug when I found out it wasn't...

How are my fellow Texans doing this morning lol

Aledo, TX I to wrapped towels and a tarp over the equipment. I also wrapped 30ft of heat tape around the plumbing used for deicing gutters I got off amazon. Not sure Flamingo is going to make it. Evaporation is insane this waterfall and spillover aren't doing me any favors. I filled it last...

    Pool Freezer Settings

Water will still flow, but you can check with your hand to make sure. I have a similar setup, I have everything on freeze protection except the blower or the vacuum. I also went a little crazy and wrapped some heating wire around it covered everything with towels and then covered all that with a...

Can I find any bulbs or parts for this old pentair light?

From my research it doesn't look like parts for this old guy are available or RGB led replacements that work with it.
