We replaced our T-5 with T-5 and it worked great for a week but today it says inspect cell and that light is blinking. :( My husband is ready to go buy truckloads of dirt to just fill the pool in!! No! help!

I think the guy who works on my pool is smoking crack.....and we just need to buy a T-5 and not a T-15.....

I'm not sure which software version it is....how do I find that out? (We did not install this.....it was here when we bought the home).

and it clearly says T-5 on the board....but we were told they no longer make T-5 and we need T-15....

I never get a "t" reading of any sort no matter how many times I push the diagnositic button and no matter which setting it is on. :hammer:

We were told we didn't need to change any settings....and I don't know where or how to do that...

I keep getting Hi salt readings on my SWG so it's not producing any chlorine. We've drained almost 1/3 or the pool, refilled and tried still no luck. SWG says salt is 4200. Strips and pool store say around 3200. I tried the steps to recalibrate but after I push the diagnostic button 5 times and...

i'm having this same problem but I drained almost 1/3 of my water and refilled and still says HI on SWG. Strips said 2800 and pool store (gasp) says 3300...not generating....brand new cell.....turned off the power to reset it and still have the same issue. any suggestions?

I can't find my chart that tells how much water and how much solution to mix to test my water....can't find one online....anyone know where I can look?

Well we were planning to submerge it in acid so depending on the size of the container we find to soak the cell in, it would probably be more than we usually put in to lower the pH and if it's cleaning stuff off of the cell, not sure I want dirty acid poured in my pool, do I?

We are going to soak our SWG cell in muriatic acid to clean it (and hope it fixes it). But once it's done soaking, how do we dispose of the acid? Also, Hubby wants to soad it over night, will that be too long?

We run our pump 24/7 and have our SWG turned up to 70-80% and now inspect cell and low salt lights are on. We've added a lot of salt, more than usual and it still says low salt. I'm guessing it's gone bad. This is our 3rd season in this house, so I'm guessing it's reached it's max life, not sure...

Re: Numbers off, pool clear, in what order to I add these th Now I'm not holding chlorine at all. It's very hot here with heat indexes over 100 so I'm hoping it's because of that. Tested this morning and I have no chlorine even with SWG on superchlorinate yesterday and overnight. Ph is 7.5...

Okay so where do I find the advantages/disadvantages to putting the sock in front of a jet or through the skimmer?

When you say return jet..... do you mean the jets that push the water back in the pool or the return that sucks the water back to the filter? Sorry, just confused and want to do it right.

Where do I find "safe" levels to swim I've always been told that if the water is clear and/or you can at least see the drain, it's safe to swim...is this true or are there certain levels I should be aware of for swimming? (I tried to look in Pool School, but wasn't sure where it would be.) See...

Here are my numbers: FC .5 ph 2.8 TA 140 CYA 0....gets a little cloudy when I do the black dot test but doesn't go away. I'm superchlorinating now. (I think I have a cell issue even though it's been inspected because we are on 80 and run the pump 24 hours a day). So, the pool calculator says...

If it's ammonia, how do you fight that? (Sorry to butt in.....just trying to learn)

We have an automatic cover and we cover it nightly. We also run our pump 24/7 although I'd like to get away from that once we are over this algae ordeal. Should we cover it at night? That's usually when we shock it so I didn't know if it needed to "breathe" while doing that or if it was okay to...
