I have a 33' agp. The Rover jr says it comes with 40' of hose. Is that enough or do I need to purchase extra hose?

We're about to make a water level, I just can't find anything stating the length of tube we need. I'm guessing we need about 18' since that's the length of the 2x6 we are currently using, is that right?
