    Leak - Above ground pool

Last summer I had a leak on the bottom of the pool - a few pinhole sized leaks. Those were patched and water was no longer leaking where there had been a visible leak that you could see coming out of the bottom on the outside. This was at the end of summer. I refilled at the start of this season...

Last summer I had a leak on the bottom of the pool - a few pinhole sized leaks. Those were patched and water was no longer leaking where there had been a visible leak that you could see coming out of the bottom on the outside. This was at the end of summer. I was still losing water somewhere...

Jason: Is there an adapter that would fit on the inlet pipe that I could put in place to put the return hose on?

    Plumbing to bypass cartridge tank

I have a crack in the lid of my cartridge tank - tried repairing but it isn't working. Pool place suggested AB Epoxy - that didn't work. Bama Rambler said that I could bypass the tank by doing this: To bypass it you just hook a pipe from the inlet to the outlet fittings and that's all there...

    Crack in cartridge tank lid

How would I bypass it? Just got the price on the lid and it's over $200 - maybe I should just get a new system. Would it be better to switch to a sand filter?

    Crack in cartridge tank lid

I have a Waterway Pro Clean 75 filter system that came with my above ground pool. The dome lid that goes over the tank that holds the cartridge has developed a crack. You can't see the crack but you can see the water coming out in a spray. To replace the lid, I will have to order one and wait...

I held an FC of 25 all day yesterday and overnight. I've been battling this algae for a few weeks - I think I finally beat it!

    High FC Reading

I am hoping this means my algae is gone - I am going to keep an eye on it and keep testing.

    High FC Reading

Thanks so much for the help with clearing my swamp. After weeks using tons of bleach, scrubbing, removing debris and testing, I finally have a blue pool that is rapidly clearing up. I brought the pool to shock level one last time yesterday and it held an FC reading of 25 overnight. CYA is 40...

Massive Green Algae - No FC readings

The pool does look some better this morning. Lots of little clumps of algae floating on the top - some green some gray. I just dipped all of that out, cleaned the cartridge, and am headed to the pool store for a reading. I live in Florida - it's hot and sunny today. I know you are supposed...

Massive Green Algae - No FC readings

I need some help :) I have a 24 ft above ground pool. I have been fighting a horrific algae bloom for 2 weeks now. I cannot maintain a fc reading despite massive applications of shock or bleach. I have been using test strips and all of my levels are in the normal range EXCEPT the fc. I know...
