I am a new pool owner reopening the pool for the first time this year. I replaced the sand in the filter on Sunday and the PSI was showing at 10-12. after 3 days of it not moving (but backwashing every day lots of algae) the PSI went up to 30 overnight. I backwashed again and it stayed at 30...
