I have a 28000 gallon pool that's being renovated...new plaster, tile etc. Do you have suggestions for start up chemicals and quantities I will need? I know I will need a lot of muriatic acid in the first few months. What about cyanuric acid/how much? Also other chemicals? Thanks.

I've got a hole in a 2" plastic pool return pipe that was drilled to install an automatic chlorinator. We've since removed the chlorinator leaving us with this gaping hole. How can we plug it? We tried a pipe clamp with a rubber gasket but that leaked and we don't want to tighten it too much for...
