I'm sad to report I will be boxing up the Scuba S1 to be returned. After 8 full cycles the pool still isn't clean. Large sections of the shallow end were not covered even once. Perhaps the shape of my pool doesn't match the programming. Hopefully this works well for others in their pool.

It's kind of clogged with fine debris. I'm going to let it air dry while recharging. That should allow more to shake out

First run I used the mode where it does walls for the first 50% of battery, then the floor. Most of the cleaning was done in the deep end. It only made a pass or two through the shallow end. Basket was full when I pulled it out for a recharge. Tomorrow I'll use floor-only mode. I need to come...

It arrived today. I charged it and sent it for a swim a little over an hour ago. I went with the wall, then floor mode. So far it has spent a bit too much time in the deep end and very little time in the shallow end.

Than you @ajw22 I cancelled the controller board order and ordered four driver chips with 2 day shipping. The only flakiness has been the valve actuators either don't work at all, or only work one direction. Sounds similar to what is described in that thread. I'll post an update either way.

Last summer two of the valve controls stopped working. This spring the main spa/pool relay only works one way and it gets stuck in spillway feature. I swapped the actuator ports and the actuators work fine so the board seems to slowly be losing its brain. I ordered a replacement 520657 board...

Posting back with the results. I picked up a 350105S local with an option to return if it didn't work, and it works perfectly. Side by side they are identical except for color. My reason for buying this model was the black version was hard to find actually in stock anywhere.
