How do I wire this stuff?

Just wanted to give a quick update: I had the pump start-up today and everything went great. I wired it all up myself and had an electrician check it out to ensure I did the work correctly (which I did). Thanks to everyone and especially AJW22 for showing me how to do it. I'll post a few...

How do I wire this stuff?

Reassessing... Taking back the T101, getting the T104 in an outside enclosure. Wiring it 220v to a 20A breaker. Putting all the electrical components in PVC conduit outside near the pool equipment. Going to mount it to a 1 1/4" X 12" piece of laminated beam I have painted to match the color...

How do I wire this stuff?

Well, the timer that I bought is only for indoor installation. Not an outside install box. And the pump itself has a digital control panel, would that suffice for a shut off or not?

How do I wire this stuff?

The ground wire all the way from the Circuit breaker or just once outside to be green insulated? And no, the timer is inside and the SWG generator is outside.

How do I wire this stuff?

Yes, once I get outside I will transition to individual 12 AWG wire in PVC conduit.

How do I wire this stuff?

Left side is power from breaker. Right side to pump and SWG. Neutral pigtail on 'A' - wire nut to Incoming neutral (white) and outgoing neutral (white) X 2 - pump and SWG. Ground pigtail on 'G' - wire nut to Incoming ground (bare) and outgoing ground (bare) X 2 - pump and SWG. Hot incoming...

How do I wire this stuff?

Ok - Here it is wired up. Ignore the red wires, I am using some leftover 12/3 cable and am clipping the red wire.

How do I wire this stuff?

I actually just have a regular 20A breaker. Was going to put in a GFCI receptacle before the timer to protect. Should I try and get a different 20A breaker instead? I didn't see any at Home Depot but I didn't look real hard either. Siemans panel.

How do I wire this stuff?

I know the sketch is rough, but the neutral's are all wired together and not to a terminal in the timer.

How do I wire this stuff?

Ok, before I begin: This is a sketch of what how I plan to wire it. Tell me if this is right or wrong. Again, I will not hook up anything to power until the wiring is correct! Thanks...

How do I wire this stuff?

Yes, that makes sense. I will wire everything up before I even hook it up to the main panel circuit breaker. I'll try and get good pictures and post it when I do. Wish me luck - give me a few days to get this done. And thanks again for sharing your knowledge, I can see that I have a lot to...

How do I wire this stuff?

Yes, AJW - that makes sense. Thank you so much. I also read that part in the manual, that's why I'm wondering why the heck my pool contractor replied with a "no" in my email!!

How do I wire this stuff?

Yes sir, it does support 115v. Thanks for double checking me for me!

How do I wire this stuff?

Would it be okay to wire it 115v, and use the intermatic T101, and then follow your directions? Is it ok to wire 2 devices (pump and SWG power center) to the load terminals?

How do I wire this stuff?

Thanks to everyone for the advice. A little more info: My pool builder isn't very good at communication. They've done good installation work, but the "boss" just doesn't communicate well. Not that he is rude, but just no info. So I sent him an email last night after getting some information...

How do I wire this stuff?

The bonding was inspected prior to concrete. The bonding wire comes up near the pool equipment currently.

How do I wire this stuff?

AJ - The power will be coming from the main 200A panel in the house. It's not very far away through the exterior wall to the pool equipment, maybe 20 feet.

How do I wire this stuff?

Wow, thanks so much for all the replies! Let me try and answer some of your questions. The pool is fiberglass, by Custom fiberglass pools. My wife and I simply hired a pool company to order the pool for us and install the pool, but they do not do the electrical hookups. The installation...

How do I wire this stuff?

Hi all, noob here. I am just looking for a little bit of direction in the wiring of my brand new pool pump and chlorinator setup. I am trying to save a little bit of money by not hiring it out to an electrician. I am capable of running wire myself, and wiring devices myself, but I need to...
