Salt Cell not working....or do I have invisible algae...?

The last week or so I've been struggling to keep my FC within acceptable range. It keeps dropping 8-9ppm in a 24 hr period. And that's not usually the case - my FC hovers around 3-4 most of the season with my SWCG set to 20% and hardly any intervention needed except lowering PH and adding some...

**Update-Construction Photos Added** Soon-to-be New Build in SE Pennsylvania (Pics Included)

I realize I never really finished this thread. In case anyone in the future takes the time to read through it, here’s the completed, filled pool. Liner is GLI mosaic dark gray, full floor. We love it! It’s cold here now so it’s all covered up....but I can’t wait to open it back up in the...

First time using TF-100 kit - High TA, High FC & Low CYA?

OK on the addition of the CYA. I'll read up more on the pH, I missed that they were invalid with high chlorine levels. Is it possible my pH isn't actually at a desirable level since the FC is over 10? How would I find that out? Thanks!

First time using TF-100 kit - High TA, High FC & Low CYA?

Our pool was filled on Thursday of last week, so it's had water in it for 6 days now. The pool company came out 2 days ago to give me the basic run down on how to care for the pool and all the equipment/automation and did their standard tests (TA, Chlorine, PH, CYA, Calcium and Salt). I...

Day 17-Detailing of Stamped Concrete Deck (and cleaning off orange spray paint) Today I was almost in tears. I took my youngest to daycare ( I was gone 45 minutes at most) and in that time, they came back and started saw cutting our control joints (which by the way, is our pattern - we elected...

Days 9-15 nothing happened. We waited for the stamped concrete contractor to come out to no avail. As I mentioned above, we asked them to price some decorative boulders and river rock for along the top edge along the hillside. They stalled for a week and I got no response, then they replied...

Day 7 & 8: Not a ton happened these 2 days. Day 7 the concrete truck came and they spent about 1 hr filling in the sunshelf, stairs and benches. They tarped it over, and it proceeded to rain (minimally) on and off for the rest of the afternoon. The umbrella sleeve is in the middle...

Day 5: No one showed up for Days 3 & 4. I'm assuming they were letting the footings cure. They came back on Friday and backfilled around the pool, filled the areas of the sunshelf and bench with gravel, then proceeded to dig up the entire rest of our yard for the trench to the equipment pad...
