Pentair Home on a bender again

What is up with this app? I swear, it's always got some BS up the sleeve. today I saw it was going 58 GPM with the "setting" in the app at "810" GPM, hahahahah My pump is set to 25 GPM at the pump, but the app has a whole other idea.

Pentair DE filter grid replacement 60.

It’s probably time to replace them. Going on 10 years, at least. And I’m getting way more Fine dirt settlement in my pool. Builder said if it’s a hole in the filter, it would be more near returns, but mine is evenly distributed dirt on floor, everywhere. I looked online, and there is a huge...

New Pentair IC30 heat/burnt spot on top

I might have an idea. I used outdoor Christmas lights on my pool equipment during freezing temps, covered by a tarp. While not intentional, one of the bulbs you see in the photos might of ended on top of the unit, therefor causing the burnt spot in both the top cover and top of SWG. Might of...

New Pentair IC30 heat/burnt spot on top

No. If you look at my first photo, you can see that it’s to the side.

New Pentair IC30 heat/burnt spot on top

Bulb? The green one? Seems to be an inch or away from it. I’m not completely dissing your suggestion. I’m just saying it seems too far away to be the burnt spot unless it’s some transistor or something that feeds the lightbulb. I can’t imagine this being a big power area, the light. I might have...

New Pentair IC30 heat/burnt spot on top

I noticed this just this week. A burnt spot on top of my SWG. I installed it in October of last year. Operates with Intelliconnect and shuts off properly when water flow stops. Is this something else I need to worry about? The unit operates about 33% and does fine for chlorine gereration.

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Ok, I can do that! So, curious, the heater will be after, so that's cool n all I guess?

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Alright, where do I put the sensor? Before SWG, after filter, and we're good? After heater?

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Yah, I got the kit, that was on the list when I bought the SWG. :) I'm at 3K ppm of salt right now.

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

OH I got this, but this isn't really saying the IntelliCHLOR has a bad sensor, it's just there is not a temp sensor currently installed. Coming soon!

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Thanks Jeff! I did NOT test before hand so yeah, I use liquid chlorine almost exclusively, only adding pucks in a few of the hotest parts of summer when I'm out of town for a week. Currently at 65 ppm CYA! yay! Now to monitor salt level. how much should I trust the "GOOD" on the SWG?

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

OK, makes sense! I appreciate your info! thank you kind internet stranger!
  25. P

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

I find that Odd since the intelliconnect connects directly to the SWG powercenter. One would think they could of programmed it to send "kill power" in that comm cable lol

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

I have ordered the temp sensor and will install it the moment it arrives, so no on that so far.

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Ha no worries! no sorry needed, but appreciated! I am on second attempt at redoing plumbing, cause one sleeve didn't seal :( I give it 3 hour cure time, its cured! at least for a 28gal/min water pressure. Heck, thats just above minimal operating water flow for the inteliChlor! I determined I...

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Um … up and going, I never saw a ground in the Intelliconnect… is that ok? I added 4 bags of 40lb each and reached 3000 ppm in the hour. I brushed all the salt off the bottom. No body said the Intelliconnect RS wire block screw down was a pull off moduLe! I figured it out after wiring the SWG...

Intelliconnect needs jumpers for IN load on relays?

Great! This is exactly what i needed. I wasn't aware i needed the temp sensor. I will get that. I just plumbed it in, waiting for dry time, now is a good time to wire it up while all the power is OFF> thanks again!
