    Return fitting stuck in wall

I've done just about all of these suggestions. Hacksaw trick is what the really hard ones require. Put some plumbers grease on the threads of the new one and it will be easier the next time.

Aqualogic (PS4) AUX1 no longer working in auto.

Noticed the other day the pool floor was dirty. After a few days of watching, realized that my Polaris (which is on AUX1 relay) wasn't turning on. But manual works fine. Checked the times to make sure everything was on the correct time, it was. Went into the menu to make sure it was still on the...

Variable Speed Motor and Aqualogic Automation

BCJ, I had a similar situation. Older Aqualogic board that would not control a VS pump. My system had only room for 4 relays which it has already. I used the pump relay to power the new Intelliflo VS with the onboard timer. Pump runs the speeds and times and the Aqualogic just supplies the...

    AquaRite T15 salt cell replacement

Shop around. I replaced mine with an OEM T15 last year for $375 shipped. The old one I'm pretty sure was 11 years old, wife says 12, whichever I started getting spastic readings. Just replaced it, way overdue. Kept it as backup. Since turning to TFP method, cell is turned down and not being used...

    Wireless Pool Thermometers

Mike, I use the Acurite wireless Pool & Spa thermometer. Works good for about a year of continual use. Then they fail. I think I am on my forth unit? All the others fail with the sensor. I never have gotten the leaks and corrosion that everyone else complains about. I have even replaced the...

    Replacement T-15 Cell

Thanks guys! I have seen the so called Titanium cells, but I believe all cells have some level of titanium in them. I got 10 years out of my cell, so I got my monies worth I guess. It's hard to find a OEM cell with 3 year warranty at a reasonable price? $398 seems to be average, but it is 1 year...

    Replacement T-15 Cell

Need to replace my cell, wanting to know where and what everyone is buying? Name brand or Aftermarket? And I see plenty of "Deals" out there but then reading into the "Deals" only come with 1 year warranties. As opposed to 3 years. What you guys think? Who really has the "Deal"?

    Motor problems

The flow will be hard to tell when the bearings are going. When the pump is under load and moving water, bearings will start to make noises. Like Jason said, bearings. They are pretty easy to change and not expensive. You can find plenty of videos out there to do them if you want to do yourself.

PS-4, how to access AUX valves?

I have a Aqua Logic PS-4 control panel/SWG. It has the 4 relays that it comes with used, I would like to add a 5th relay for a 2 speed pump. There is a socket labeled AUX Relays 3-6 on the circuit board. How do I get to those in the menu? I plugged a relay in and wanted to see if I could get it...

Do all AQUA LOGIC boards have a Varistor?

Having issues with my system again. This time "LOW SALT" with CHECK SYSTEM light on. I soldiered the leg on the K1 relay a few years ago for a NO FLOW issue. Worked fine until now. Don't see any Varistor like everybody seems to replace? Going to get the cell checked at the store, it is 4-5 years...

40 Straight Days above 100*, but Water is TO COLD!

Finally got around to putting the coolers in! New motor on the pump this past winter and I can't believe the difference! Getting like 20' in distance and it will go 20' in the air if I let it! Tons of pressure! In 3 days I went from 93 to 78* running 7 hours at night!

    Pool cooler

High humidity should help with evaporation loss. I only get about 5-9*s running during the day. 15-19* running at night. Last year I got my temps down from the mid 90's to 80* before I was getting complaints on it being to COLD! Run time at night also determines temp also. 7-8 is were I am at...

Do you like your Grotto? Pros...cons.. regrets?

I have a grotto/water fall seat. You can look under my name and I believe there are photos. We love it! Its 4 feet wide and 30" deep at it's widest point. Huge diving rock/water fall over head. Polaris 3900 Adjusting Problems

Yes, it's better than it was. Still not like the 280 though. The jets are more likely to clog on the 3900 which cause strange problems with it that do not occur with the 280 or 380. 3900 always seems to want to ride with the back end lifting (1-2 inches) off the floor. No matter what the back...
