My pool pump is not turning on when the programming says it should. As you can see from the picture the pool electrical says it’s on but the pump does not kick on until I walk down there and physically touch the connection with my “magical powers”. Any idea of how to get this working normally...

Yes I did mean ionizer. Is there anything to be done other than removing the ionizer, which I would rather not do because it seems to work very well in our pool at keeping it Algae free?

I do have an solar ionizer in the pool that have a copper node, but I still treat the pool with chemicals as needed

Also, the black marks seem to be scuff marks from our dolphin pool cleaner

Sorry, the pool is an older pool by it was replastered 2 years ago. We are using a solar oxidizer in then pool as well as regularly treating with bleach and acid as needed.

I can see blue through my pool plaster on some of the shallow areas and around the pool under the tile around the rim. Is this a problem and if so what needs to be done about it? A few pics are attached

Hey, There is a tube coming out of my Jandy Stealth pump which looks like it is where the drain plug should be and the tube is dripping water out of the other end. Does anyone know what this is and why it is there? I can find it on any diagrams of the pump online. Thanks so much???
