The gauge on my Liquidator cracked and I was wondering if there was a different option than the stock one. Looking for something a little more heavy duty than the one that came with it.

Any recommendations on a good needle vavle i can add to my liquidator. I have fought the quarter turn push connects for 3 years and I'm wondering if there's something better. I don't think a brass valve would be the answer so wondering if there is a plastic one out there? No luck finding one...

Wouldn't a 18" sand filter be enough, around 1.75 sq foot

Thanks Jason and Bama, I went with a 1hp matrix but now I'm thinking the filter is too small. My surface area is 254 sq/ft and my cartridge is rated for 100 sq/ft. Should I be filter shopping also??

jason that was the model number off of the housing and says Hayward Voyager

The pool is 18' X 54" deep with a Hayward power flo lx 1.5hp with a hayward cartridge sw110mpaks filter. I need a new pump and I'm thinking I do not need 1.5hp, but don't know for sure. Also I can buy a Hayward 18" sand filter really cheap from a friend, model S180T. I'm thinking a 1hp...

Where I live it's the same fee per gallon, that includes a % for garbage pu and other city fees! I tank mine in and costs about a third of filling from the hose, but not everyone has a water tank and/or the space to pull one to the pool.

What about using a brass needle valve with speed fit connectors in it??

When doing the drop test for FC, I get to a certain spot and the water will go clear, but then back to red a little. Does the measurement count when it first turns or when it stays. Just wanna make sure on it.

You're the man Bama, that did it. TY for all the help!!!! I'm going to try the sock also, it might help with all my pine needles that keep falling in early season.

I put the outlet feed in b/t the valve and pump basket and it has been feeding finally, however the flow is not very strong. It's reading around 2 on the flow meter with the valve fully open. Any suggestions on how to get a stronger flow down that outlet?

I put a nipple in the drain plug of the pump basket and no better. Why is the shut off an issue??

When I had the cleaner hooked up to the skimmer yesterday I noticed the flow was working properly. When I removed it went back to doing the same thing reading bt 0 and 1 with the valve open all the way. I'll post a pic also
