Well darn it. It looks like the SWG cell is indeed close to its death. It is still breaking up the salt into chlorine, but the beeping and error code are back. Sigh... I just ordered a new cell.

It looks like 1200 RPM was not allowing the SWG to kick in and do its job. I had a lot of algae this time around in March/April and I had never had this problem. I am in the process of doing the SLAM procedure. Gonna have to go up to 1300 RPM or revert back to my original configuration.

I removed and disassembled the pentair light and there was no water in it. The LEDs (well, certainly the white one) have failed. You can see that in the photo I took while briefly powering it on outside the pool. I set it to WHITE and the RED leds were by far the brightest :-(

Yeah, all the connections are good. I checked at the transformer and also at the junction box near the pool. Gonna go figure out how to take them out to check for water inside. Thx!

Thanks. That's a good point about not pulling on the cable because it has a swivel... My current one does not have a swivel and so I did pull it towards the edge of the pool using the cable.
