Oh yeah. already on it with them. Not really excited to think of replacing the liner already. Since I know they will only pay for the liner and not the install and replacement water. :(

Pump rums for a few hours after ading liquid chlorine. There is no way this is due to chlorine for after couple reasons. First if it was the walls would be faded also and after the water line. Second my chlorine has never been above 5.5 ppm since the build.

Catanzaro, It is literally at the seam that connects the walls to the bottom. It is as if the bottom portion was made/treated differently.

My bottom is just regular, filtered pool sand. I can't seem to wrap my head around it either? So weird. I do have an email into the manufacturer and the pool store. I will update this thread if/when I receive an answer.

No worries Casey. I was just curious. I can live with it, but at the same time it is so weird that only the floor faded and not the walls?

On a side note, I am very pleased with how crystal clear my water is and has been :) Thanks to this forum I feel very confident in my abilities. My kids and neighbors love the pool!

Did you ever contact the manufacturer? What did they say? Part of me wants to just roll with it, but the other part of me is upset about the entire thing. Also, did the fading ever go up the walls on yours? How does yours look today? Did the fading slow down? P.S. It is an Emerald Tile...

This was a brand new install, have used nothing but the trouble free pool method. Just liquid chlorine bleach with the filter running. I am completely baffled by this?

Nope. Not patchy at all. Very even fading on just the bottom of the liner right up to the seam for the wall? Not super excited about the idea of replacing this already and the expense involved. Ugh
