Great news! I can clearly see the bottom of the deep end as of yesterday evening! This morning it's even clearer! It looks amazing! The shallow end is crystal clear. It's still a little cloudy in the deep end. I am going to change out the filters today and add what I hope will be the...

Good Evening, Sorry about not updating for days! Being back to work is hard! My pool has stalled!!!!! It's still clear blue in the shallow end and I can juuuuust make out the drain at the bottom of the deep end but it's been like this for 4 days now! I was sure I had turned the corner...

Thanks everyone for all the encouragement! I KNEW it would work because I've done it before but I didn't expect it to take this long! We have even more clarity today. I figure only a foot and a half left in the deep end to go! I plan to do a full recap as soon as I'm "in the clear"! Brenda

Thanks Chrissykr, Yes, I think it's just going to take a bit more time. It's encouraging to see improvement finally! The water is definitely more blue in the shallow end and around the edges in the deep end. It's cloudy though. I've got three days of vacation time saved up for when the pool...

Hi, I just logged all the numbers. The pool actually dropped 6 ppm from slam during the most sunny part of the day. Typical. Brenda

Hi, Back to work today after 5 months remote. Busy day and my daughter was on testing duty all day. I did do the OCLT. The pool only lost .5 ppm. Tested 19.5 at 7:52 last night at 19 at 6:45 this morning. It looks like the pool stayed within 3 ppm from slam all day with close to hourly...

Hi, My filter holds four cartridges. The pool is in this condition because our cover broke several years ago and was never replaced- We didn't even try to clear it for 2 years- just so overwhelming. This year I was working from home, and was able to give the pool the attention it needed...

Hi, The pool loses 1-4 ppm below slam level when the sun is beating down on it during the day (every hour-ish). But holds steady for several hours otherwise. I'm not noticing any slime. I brush twice a day. The square footage of my filter is 420 and I added 8 cups of fiber clear (the bag...

Hi, Today the pool was a pretty blue color! Still cloudy and I don't think it gained any extra clarity overnight. But the color is certainly changing! I swapped out the fiber clear filters with the clean newer filters. Does anyone know if I need to add more fiber clear to the filter now...

Hi Mike, The pressure with the new filters starts off around 12-15. The pressure with these ones wasn't getting above 30. (35 is the stop mark) Today when I pulled out the cartridges with the fiber clear the pressure was around 30. Look at this filter! It cleaned off surprisingly well!
