Adding Smart Switch for Pool Light - Wiring Question.

I traced the blue back and realized it was not going to the light. Switch (HomeSeer WS 200+) is now working. Thanks.

Adding Smart Switch for Pool Light - Wiring Question.

After talking to the electrician I was expecting to be able to run a white (neutral) from the outlet in the first pic to use for my smart switch. You can see in the photo where I fished a new wire through. When I wired it all up, the smart switch didn't work. I have the black wire from the...

    Problem with new plaster

Crisis averted. PB was out today and took one look and knew it wasn't an issue. A swipe with the brush showed that it was loose granules that washed down from shallow end and collected at the top of the ramp. Thanks for the responses.

    Problem with new plaster

I can't tell if it's completely washed away. The spot in the first pic is smaller and it's near the edge and I can get closer to it. In the second pic, when I zoom in, I can see texture changes that appear to be more than water spots.

    Problem with new plaster

PB mentioned patching without draining. I don't know anything about plaster patching and suspect that there are good and bad ways to do it. PB is going to want to do the method with the lowest cost. Would the material used for patching color match to the diamond brite applied everywhere else...

    Problem with new plaster

We had a very heavy rain storm come through a couple of hours after the plaster crew finished installing diamond brite. What look like bare patches then appeared in the plaster, like the plaster has washed away on parts of the ramp. PB says to keep filling and they will patch after the plaster...

    Shotcrete Floor Cracks

Thanks. I was thinking the spider cracks would be more random. The crack in the first photo goes from one side of the pool straight to the other.

    Shotcrete Floor Cracks

Our shotcrete was done 6 weeks ago and we're expecting tile and coping next week. I noticed today cracks in the shell floor that run the entire width of the pool along the top of the ramp to the deep end. Our soil is clay. Is this normal or something I need to look into further? Thanks!

    Shotcrete Quality

All, Our shotcrete was done about 2 weeks ago and I took these pics today. On the floor and lower portions of the walls I have a smooth solid finish. In other areas, near the top of the walls, I have a much more rough/porous finish. Is this OK or is this something I should be concerned...

    Getting Bids from Builders

Hi, All. I've started talking to builders in my area and have received the first couple of bids. We're looking at a free form in-ground pool ~36'x18'. I'm attempting to get as close to an apples to apples comparison of the bids as I can and I have a couple of questions. 1.) I see a Jandy...
