So I SLAM'd the pool yesterday to my SLAM level and maintained it overnight. FC level today is only down to 15. PH 7.6 TA 90. Pool company is coming tomorrow. Is it ok to close with this FC level and if so should I add the polyquat 60 or not. I am in northern virginia and water temp is 58. Thanks.

I think I have emerged on the other side. FC held overnight and is 11.5 CC .4 no ammonia TA 150 and PH 7.4 CH 300. Anything I need to do other than maintain? CYA I think is between 30-40 but will need to retest on a sunny day. We are having two days of rain.

I just checked the CYA and it filled to the top of the tube and I could slightly still see the dot. I also checked FC and it was only .6. If my CYA has dropped so much should I use dichlor to shock so that it raises CYA?
