    I have black algae and the pool is a little cloudy. I took a water sample in to the local pool store. They said I needed to lower my phosphates which is at 1000. They said since I live near farms that's why it's high. To reduce this and get rid of the algae they said I need 1. phosphate remover...

    My system is sucking in air at the flow meter. Is it worth the headache and money to replace this? I have a 18000 gal pool, echotech ez variable speed pump, jandy cl 460 cart filters.
