How can I fix broken teeth on a deck drain?

Thanks @kimkats for the ideas! I'll start with your first idea and see how it goes. Then move to #2 if it gets too tedious by hand. Didn't have a clue where to start and now I have some direction. Thanks!

How can I fix broken teeth on a deck drain?

One of the drains on my concrete pool deck has broken teeth that have caused a large hole on the deck floor. I'm afraid my dogs are going to get their paws stuck in the large hole. The drain cover appears to be attached with PVC glue and the piece is about 2 inches deep into the drain-pipe. It...

Sooo, I walked into Leslie's and asked for some PhosFree

Yes please post pics! I was a reef & salt tank enthusiast in my 20's. I'm in my 40's now. Just built my pool a moth ago and it lit my love for fish tanks again. So I bought a 90 gallon and started with African cichlids. Look forward to seeing your setup. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Bella (our pup) will hang out on the tanning ledge. She will only go in the deep end if someone is holding her. She will jump the floaters on her own though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

New pool first full test results

Thank for the quick response MR. Bruce. I re-tested the FC & CC as well as tested the CYA with the secondary method of adding tap water since my reading was so high. FC: 13 CC: 0 CYA: 80 The results I posted earlier were from Sunday. I set the in-line feeder to the minimum level. Is there a way...

I have a chlorine in-line feeder and will need to purchase 3" pucks soon. I am a 1st time pool owner and interested in learning the...

Well my pool is finally complete. Admittedly, I took the week off to enjoy my pool before he season ended and it began to get cold. I hadn't posed because I have been putting my finishing touches like sod, tropical plants and furniture while I have been off. But now my backyard oasis looks just...

Thanks Brian, Glad to see more information about aqua bright now. It was difficult to find anything when I was looking. But I found enough to convince me to give it a try. Hopefully others are willing to. I really feel good about my decision. Having friends and family with plaster and...

TFTestKit delivered. Should I test the tap water?

PB is doing initial startup and first month maintenance. I don't want to interfere with their maintenance as it is part of the contract. But I will be checking the water routinely to begin to understand. I'm a first time pool owner. I don't really understand the chemicals until I apply what I...

TFTestKit delivered. Should I test the tap water?

I received my TF-100 test kit today. My pool build is about 2-weeks from pool fill. Does it make sense to test my tap water now? If so, which tests do I run?

The decking was pored today. Not quite the color I was expecting. The workers said there is a coating on it right now and they would be back to power wash it tomorrow. It would look closer to the color after the power wash. The final color won't come through until 2-3 weeks after it's fully...

    New build in DFW

Specs are very similar to my build and in the same town. I'm on decking stage. it's been postponed for a week now because of the rain. Likely bid with the same builders. Happy to share my experience so far about pool builders in private message you would like. My build is here
