    So I went to the pool store and had my water tested for metal. Was high in Iron and Sulfur. Got sequestrate and used it on Monday. It is clearing up a lil at a time but still pretty greenish. How long should i expect this to take?

    Thank you both! You guys are super helpful. Hoping my pool city has this chemical cause my walmart doesn't carry it. Should I upgrade my filter pump to the 2500gph pump?     Ok, I'll start with the sequestrate for now then. Will it clear up current issues or just prevent future issues? Should i wait til its clear to do or do it now?

    Ok i updated that info for you guys. It is a clear greenish/browning hue and it did change instantly after adding it. I have well water that is high in sulfur and iron.     Well I only have the testing strips that came with my pool so far. It was clear before I added the shock and became green within about 5 mins. And thanks for the warm welcome =)
