I'm preparing to do a pH test and I cannot freaking figure out how. I'm using a Taylor Kit that says I should use R-0004, then "match color to color standard." There is no color guide. The he book says it's designed to work with a "color comparator" but I've no clue what the heck that is...

I don't even know what I don't know. Ive had had a pool for a few years, but the guys did (or didn't do) everything. I'd like to save some money and do it myself, but am hopelessly lost and overwhelmed. Wish me luck. I'll need it.
