OK I did that but then the message is: "remote file is too large". I resized it on tiny pic to meet message board (640X480) & then it gives me the error message again. I'm sure it's me but I don't know how to fix. I'll keep trying...

I did exactly that and it keeps saying "error: invalid file". I'm not understanding that because photobucket & tinypic puts the codes on the page, they just need to be copied.

I tried photobucket but it wouldn't work & I have tons of pics! It says that I have "invalid file error". Anyway, giving update: my pool is in the ground filled with water. The tile is starting tomorrow & spa will be built Friday. Next week I should be ready for concrete.

I've decided on an Energy Star Variable Speed Pump. However, my PB only uses the following brands: Pentair, Hayward, & Zodiac. He recommends Hayward & says he has never had a problem with them honoring their warranty. What do the experts here think? TIA!

I forgot to mention, Entergy will give a $250 rebate for the use of an Energy Star pool pump so I'm definitely going to use that to offset any cost increase. So really the pump would be $450 more.

Hi All! Under my current contract with PB (haven't started yet), I am slated for a single speed Hayward pump. I'm getting a raised spa with 8 jets & a 15X34 fiberglass pool. I will also have a heat pump (chiller)... not sure if that is a different pump or the same as all this pool equipment is...

How much money? My PB said it's more of a sales gimmick and 1 speed Hayward 1.5HP is enough for the pool I'm getting. There is a $700 difference for the VSP....is it worth it? Thanks!

Hi Magnum, I notice in your sig quote that you have a Hayward variable speed pump (as does a previous poster in this thread)... my PB is including a regular Hayward 1.5HP. He said if I want variable speed I could get it ($700 extra) but he felt I didn't need it & that it's a selling gimmick...
