I fixed my Beta Pool Skimmer!

So I had a Solar Breeze that lasted for 3 years, I replaced the motors once. It never did that great of a job so when it died again I checked out the Beta. Features looks much better especially the obstacle avoidance tech. So I bought one early summer of 2021. Was doing great until a couple of...

    Very light algae on walls

Did this "SLAM" earlier in the summer, of course it worked but it also came back within a couple of weeks. Maybe from the rain we get? The water has been anything but blue and clear.

    Very light algae on walls

I've been getting very faint but noticeable green algae on a few of my walls and in a couple of spots on the floor. I brush it off with my stainless steel brush. I keep my liquid chlorine level and pH pretty consistent. What gives? Do I have to use an algaecide?

Hello from an excited Newbie in Bixby Oklahoma!!

They will run the pump(s) flat out for a couple of days and then should dial them back "if the are VS pumps. Once you have control of the pool you can figure how long and that rpm to run the pump to get you a complete turn over or two per day. Save a lot of $$$ and not run pump needlessly. For...

Signed this morning, new build in Humble, TX

Summer time update. All of the landscaping was finished a few months ago and is now established. Water temp is 90 :D so getting use from it pretty much everyday. Been using the TFP method and keeping it balanced and spotless has been easy.

New (or soon to be!) Build - Humble, Texas

Great looking pool. With the proper chlorine balance your pool will not smell of it. Public pools and folks that don't balance their water properly are the ones that smell of chlorine. i'm in Fall Creek, what part of Humble are you guys in? Have fun!

Very happy with my new borates in pool

Although more expensive than using the 20 Mule Team method I went with the Pool Proof product. So far two positives, the water has a beautiful glassy appearance and the back swimmers are gone/dead ? My pool has been blue and well balanced since it was completed in March of this year. In the...

    Liquid shock question

My PB left me several gallons of liquid shock. Looks to me to be just 12.5% chorine so can I use this to chordate my pool. I typically use 10% but can adjust the quantity down some.

A Houston Pool Build Inside the Loop

My scuppers were hand built. They made basins "like a sink" with gunite and then plaster. A mini pool if you will. They used matching flagstone for the spill tray. Check out the pictures on my build thread.
